Shikara Movie Review
Shikara is perfect for the people who want to know about what happened during the time of 1990 with the Kashmiri Pandits in Kashmir. This is based on the real incidents that happened during that time.
Story– Basically, the story revolves around the struggle of Kashmiri Pandits trying to go back to their homes. The first half focuses on what kind of struggle a family faces and then what this couple (Shown in the movie) goes through. When they go to a new place they say we have a beautiful house in Kashmir. Someone says ab jo hai yahi hai. After that, you will stay tuned in to the story as you want to know what will be the next part of this movie. The second half is somewhat focused on the romance based in the movie which is much predictable
Direction– The direction was well done be it the kind of clothes or the tradition of Kashmir. Vindhu Vinod Chopra did justice with the movie we would say.
Music– The music in the movie did work well. It is just like the soul in this movie.
Sadia and Aadil Khan were the debutants in the movie and it seems like this fresh start is just the icing on the cake in this movie.
