On the sets of Indian Idol Season 12, Himesh Reshammiya says, “I’ll release the song of Kishore Kumar and Lata Mangeshkar that couldn’t be released.”
By Kishor Kumar’s 100 songs special episode will air on Sony Entertainment Television this weekend. Amit Kumar is one of the well-known singers who will perform on the 12th season of the famous musical reality show Indian Idol. It will be a mellow extravaganza in honour of the legendary singer Kishor Kumar. Neha Kakkar, Himesh Reshammiya, and Anu Malik, the judges, will warmly welcome the singer.
The contestants’ amazing performances would undoubtedly transport everybody to the golden era of the 1990s. Following Anjali Gaikwad’s magnificent performance on the song ‘Mere Naina Sawan Bhaado,’ ‘Are yaar meri tum ho ghazab,’ and ‘PiyaPiyaa mora jiya pukaare,’ everyone on the set was mesmerised. The chief guest, Amit Kumar, as well as all three judges, congratulated her. Himesh Reshammiya also tells the story behind a song that his father used to sing back in the day.
“In those days, Kishore Kumar Ji was not even trained when I sang these songs,” Amit Kumar said, referring to Anjali’s sound. Looking at your talent today, it is clear that your father has given you the best understanding of any genre of music, and your voice is pleasant; please cherish it.”
“During that period, my father, MR. Vipin Reshammiya, recorded a song with Kishore Da that had a classical touch, and even today, we have that song with us that couldn’t be released,” Himesh Reshammiya continues. But I swear I’ll release the song because it was written by my father and features Kishore Da and Lata Di. Lataji gave a significantly great performance, and when Kishore Da heard the song of Lataji, with the instant impact, he said, Ab recording cancel, because I will sing in both Male and Female voice, and further said that, Because Lata has sung so great that I have to practise this,” he adds during the scenario of dubbing rehearsals. “Kishore Da used to call to my father as several times.
Kishore Da rehearsed it, sang it, and then recorded it. I will release the Kishore Kumar and Lata Mangeshkar song that we were unable to release”, saidHimesh Reshammiya.
