Covid is real, members of my family are infected, and it’s painful to see them in this state: Saahil Uppal
Similarly to everyone else Saahil Uppal, too, is concerned about the increasing number of Covid-19 cases and deaths. According to the Pinjra Khoobsurti Ka star, it feels like déjà vu because we all faced similar situations and circumstances last year as well.
“Please don’t be alarmed. I recognise that we are living in extraordinary times, but we must remain patient and take – day as it comes. We’re all going through it together, and we shouldn’t give up because this virus will never break our spirit. Please obey the rules and only leave the house if absolutely necessary,” he advises.
Uppal, too, is preaching what he preaches and adhering to protocols. “I eat a balanced diet and exercise regularly, and most importantly, I keep in touch with all of my loved ones by keeping close to them. I’m well-informed to the point that I’m not concerned. This year, my job has kept me busy and occupied, which I am thankful for, as opposed to last year, when I was sitting at home like so many others… He adds, “I also meditate to keep myself calm, think positively, and remain focused.”
“Saying from personal experience, Covid is true, members of my family are infected, and it is painful to see them in this state,” the actor continues. In this struggle, healthcare workers and police officers are still paying a high price, so let’s not make it any more complicated for them. Please obey all of the rules, keep in touch with your loved ones, and help those in need. As much as you can, assist them. We’re all in this together, and Covid will be defeated soon.”
