“Akshay Kumar Is Crowd Puller,” says Vidya Balan.

Vidya Balan feels that Men are still needed for commercial purposes in the movie. Recently, in an interview, she was asked a question about Akshay Kumar as the main lead in the story. She reverted back that Akshay Kumar pulls the audience very well. That means Vidya thinks she and other actors are unable to pull in the audience.

There are other female actors like Nithya Menen and Taapsee Pannu who have worked a lot in the south industry. That means the least importance is given to women empowerment when you are making a women-oriented film.  A woman can also pull the audience it’s just the matter of how much deep the story is. Stories like Gulaab Gaang, Lajja, Queen and many more.

Being a woman if you require the support of a man to grow than you don’t believe in your talent as well as other Co-stars. She says that “dirty picture required sex to sell the movie”. It’s not true in fact a good storyline and content are required to make a great movie.

There might be a possibility that she is showing respect for Superstar Akshay Kumar. He is seen mostly in the patriotic type of role so that’s why she states this statement.
