Spread Love, Not Hate- Shaan
Recently Celeb Mode got in touch with the melodious voice Singer Shaan. He is not just a singer but has composed, sang and written many songs. His voice is something that gives peace to your soul when you hear it.
After a long time, the Talented Singer is back with his new music album named, “Main Tujhko Yaad Karta Hoon”. Now he will be doing some more great projects and here is the gist of it.
1. What made you choose this project after a long time?
I loved the ‘straight from the heart’ lyrics of Rashmi Virag .. and tune came almost instantly .. that’s it … was in Goa shooting another video .. and this song was shot and ready in weeks. Guess it was meant to be.
2. Being in this industry what you have learned so far?
All these years in the industry .. and I’m still learning. Music consumption is very different now from even 5 years ago.. and one has to adapt to change, but what’s more important is, not to lose your own creative identity in trying to blend with the trend. Finding the right balance has been my pursuit all these years.
3. One thing from Shaan’s personality that one can take away?
A take away from my personality ?! … I’m very often told that my voice brings positive vibes, brings a smile, takes the listener to a happy place. I feel very blessed that I have this effect on my listeners .. and I believe that it’s very important that we stay positive and grateful for all we have received in life.
4. Talking about this song how was your experience?
The song is a story in itself. And anyone who listens to the lyrics will relate to the Song. We shot the video along the same concept but kept a reunion at the end.. because we all can do with a second chance. Sonali Seygall being a brilliant and natural actor really added so much soul to the video. I enjoyed the whole experience and creatively speaking, I’m proud of the outcome.
5. The youth is getting involved in social media what do you think about it?
Youth is today synonymous with Social Media. They are inseparable. My belief is that Youth needs to stay sensitive towards others and sensible towards self. Social Media is a fun place to be but we must restrain from watching or sharing ‘negative content’. Spread Love, not Hate.
6. Talking about your personal choice which is your favorite song?
When it comes to music, like food, I’m very open and adventurous. I Don’t have a current favorite but very impressed with many of the current songs and singers.
7. If you get a chance to remix any one song from the ’90s which one would you choose?
To remix a song from the 90s … I would pick ‘Ye Dil sun raha hai’ from Khamoshi .. and give it an R&B Lounge feel.
8. A message to your fans.
Hang in there… I have a lot more music coming up this year. Always stay positive, spread Joy and Peace.
