Avinash Mukerjee: As an actor, it’s necessary to maintain a desirable image rather than setting extreme fashion standards.
4 min readAvinash Mukherjee, who has received a lot of praise for Sasural Simar Ka 2, believes that it is important to be trendy in show business, but not to go overboard. He emphasises the importance of knowing what to wear when and how to wear it. As a result, the Ballika Vadhu actor is very particular about what he wears when he goes out.
“As an actor, I believe it is critical not to set extreme fashion expectations but to maintain a desirable image. In my line of work, I adhere to this. I am a person who prefers to dress comfortably. I don’t normally seek out fashion advice, but I have created my own style over time. Style, in my opinion, is also instinctive. It should be that way because it indicates that you are willing to try new things.” he added.
Different types of clothing, according to Mukherjee, express different moods. “I feel different when I’m wearing a T-shirt and jeans than when I’m wearing a suit with a matching tie, cufflinks, and shoes. However, both make me happy. The clothes we wear are a representation of who we are, but that does not give us the right to judge others solely on the basis of what they are wearing. You never know what’s going on inside a person’s head or why they’re dressed the way they are,” he says.
The actor rarely shops, but when he does, he chooses expensive but high-quality items that will last a long time. He only spends a lot of money if it’s absolutely necessary or if he really likes something.
“I believe we can all work on honing our signature styles. It’s pointless to try to be like others. I go for what I think is trendy. And when I say pricey, I mean I’ll buy a couple of suits every 4-5 years, but I make sure they’re branded, custom tailored, versatile, and can be mixed and matched.I don’t wear anything that makes me uncomfortable”, he concluded.
