Vishal Bharadwaj REUNITES with Iconic Tabu For A Netflix Spy Thriller

Netflix and Vishal Bhardwaj are joining hands for a special occasion. Read on to know more.

They are collaborating for Khufiya, a spy movie based on Amar Bhushan’s novel Escape to Nowhere. Khufiya will showcase the story about an R&AW operative who is tasked with tracking down a mole who is selling India’s defence secrets. The film starters Tabu, Ali Fazal, Ashish Vidhyarthi and Wamiqa Gabbi in prominent roles.

According to latest news, Vishal Bhardwaj has revealed a lot about this project. He said that the film Khufiya is an espionage film written and directed by Vishal Bhardwaj. The film highlights the slow burn of intelligence and the deep-rooted emotional conflicts in an individual.

Tabu shared her excitement about collaborating with Netflix and Vishal Bhardwaj for this film. She said :

“Khufiya is a one of a kind project, extremely close to my heart, and I am excited to be a part of this gripping spy thriller. As always, it’s a delight working with VB (Vishal Bhardwaj) again, and feels like a homecoming!”

Netflix India’s Director of Films and Licensing, Pratiksha Rao, mentioned that they are excited to partner with Khufiya’s director, Vishal Bhardwaj, for their upcoming project. So are we! What an epic journey it will be and bonus, we get to see Ali Fazal again!
