Aastha Chaudhary, a TV star, posted on social media about Aniruddh Dave’s declining health and asked that people pray for him. Later that day, Aniruddh’s wife Shubhi posted a photo of him holding his newborn and asked fans to pray for him.

After his health deteriorated due to Covid-19 complications, actor Aniruddh Dave was transferred to a Bhopal hospital’s ICU. Last week, the actor tested positive for the virus while filming a web series in Bhopal.  Aastha Chaudhary, an actress, posted the news on social media and asked for prayers for her friend.

“Prayers are requested for our friend @anirudh dave. He’s in the intensive care unit. Please take a moment to pray for him,” Aastha, who has appeared in shows such as Uttaran, Veera, and Kesari Nandan, said on her Instagram account.

Shubhi, Aniruddh’s wife, took to Instagram later in the day to share how she is having the most difficult time of her life because her husband, who is critically ill, needs her, but the couple’s two-month-old son also requires her presence.

“While I was on my way to Aniruddh, who is critically ill at the moment.. I had to leave my 2 month old Anishq at home, and this was certainly the biggest challenge I have faced as he is dependent on me because I was breastfeeding him, and on the other hand, I need to be beside Aniruddh as well,” she wrote.

She requested that Aniruddh’s fans and friends pray for him. “I’m having the most difficult time of my life. PLEASE PRAY, I beg all of you, our friends, relatives, colleagues, and Aniruddh fans. Is waqt Mere Aniruddh aur Anishq ke Papa ko aapke prayers ki bahut bahut zarurat hai.. hum sab milkar usko theek kar sakte hain.. aap sab uski wellbeing ke liye pray kare,” she said.

Shubhi’s post was flooded with messages from celebrities. “Be brave, he is a fighter..we all are praying for him,” Jay Bhanushali wrote on the post. Sargun Mehta expressed her concern for Aniruddh’s health. “Wishing him a speedy recovery, I am sure he will get through this difficult time…. don’t worry…. let me know if I can help,” Bhagyashree said. Mrunal Jain also prayed for Anirrudh’s well-being. Ashnoor Kaur who shared screen with Anirudh also wishes him speedy recovery by saying,” Just got to know about Anirudh bhaiya is in ICU after being testing positive for COVID-19. I request everyone please pray for his speedy recovery, sending strength to his family and him … Acche logo ko khuch nai hota and I’m sure he will fight this as well…

Aniruddh Dave announced on social media last week that he had been diagnosed with Covid-19. “Chaha toh bohot ki tumse mulaqat na ho,” he wrote. (I never wanted to encounter coronavirus.) Woh kahawat hai na bakre ki amma kab tak khair manayegi, bahar aao toh shikaar hona hi hai. A goat, as they claim, is never safe; as soon as he steps out, he will be hunted down).”

The actor had shut himself off from the outside world and was being treated at home by doctors. The Patiala Babes actor demanded that anyone who came into touch with him be screened as well in a social media update. “Jeevan mein positive hoon, bas yehi negative chahta tha… Waqt yeh bhi guzar jayega, haan.
