‘Anupamaa’: A new adventure, a new Anupamaa, how can she face life’s challenges?
3 min readYou know why Rajan and Deepa Shahi’s “Anupamaa” quickly became a crowd favourite? Because the show not only reflected the majority of Indian households, but also gave every Indian woman hope that if Anupamaa, a middle-aged mother of two, can do it, so can you. “Anupamaa” encapsulates the hope, dream, and wish that every woman aspires to but is hampered by her family. At the same time, “Anupamaa” provides the motivation to stand up for yourself and fight for your dignity. So, while Anupamaa Vanraj Shah has been teaching a new lesson every day, it will be fascinating to see how she approaches this new journey of self-discovery.
Anupamaa and Vanraj are eventually separated, and she takes the first step toward reclaiming her independence by moving out of the Shah family’s cottage. Despite the opposition from Baa and Vanraj, she decided to make this decision for herself.
This is just the start. Anupamaa will face many such obstacles in her life, but she will still come out stronger. Having said that, we’re excited to see how Anupamaa embarks on this new adventure, how she can protect herself from society’s prying eyes, and how Vanraj and family will help her. Keep watching “Anupamaa,” which airs Monday through Saturday on Star Plus, to learn more about Anupamaa’s latest adventure.
