‘Anupamaa’: Kavya and Vanraj hire a full-time maid.

In Rajan and Deepa Shahi’s “Anupamaa,” the tables have been turned. Anupamaa is juggling chores and going to school, as well as operating an online dance class and preparing for her dancing academy, while Kavya is juggling her home and work.

Kavya had already given up on household chores after only two days with the family. She informs Vanraj that she will be unable to complete the task and that she wishes to hire a full-time maid in order to avoid any disruption to her work. The only caveat is that the maid will only work for her and Vanraj. Anupamaa advises her that even mentoring a maid is a difficult responsibility, but Kavya dismisses her by claiming that she manages a team of 25 at work. Only time will tell how Kavya’s maid situation plays out.

Meanwhile, Vanraj attends a job interview and is turned down due to his age; however, he uses Anupamaa as an example, telling the interviewer that he knows a 46-year-old woman who works in a school, teaches online dance courses, and is planning to create her own dance academy soon.

Anupamaa and Kavya sharing a house has surely added to the show’s drama, and we can’t wait to see what fresh twists the creators will introduce.
