Our family is the one who raises us and trains us to face the world. However, in today’s fast-paced world, we also have less time to spend with our loved ones and overlook them. As a result, when the pandemic grabbed the strings and brought the world to a halt, all of us realised the importance of sticking close to our families. Celebrities remind us how vital it is for a child to grow up with a family and how the earlier joint family structure was much healthier than today’s nuclear families on International Day of Families (May 15). Irani Delnaaz:-
For me, family is everything. My family lives in Mumbai, which has been a blessing. Given that our career requires us to remain in the city, I consider myself fortunate to have been born and raised here. Many of the people who work in our field are not from the area. They fail to get here. This is true in other occupations as well. The importance of family in one’s life cannot be overstated. In today’s world, we recognise that family and a good group of friends are not only necessary, but also sufficient. Family is the one who will be there for you in good times and bad. I’ve always had a protected brother. I am the family’s only girl child, with two brothers of my own and numerous cousins. We’re all there for one another. Since I was raised in a nuclear family, I have no idea what a joint family is, but I was very close to my grandparents.

Sidharrth Sipani:-
Growing up with a family is, in my view, extremely significant. According to what I’ve heard, family, no matter how large or small, legitimate or illegitimate, is supposed to be someone’s backbone, comfort zone, sounding board, love nest of acceptance, an interaction with others that prepares you for life, and also helps you define your intent. Children’s family values, which they inherit from their parents and grandparents, as well as the things they teach us on a daily basis, aid their growth. In children’s psychological growth, parents play a critical role. The size of that position is determined by how much time adults spend on each child’s growth.

Binny Sneh:-
So, there you have it! Family is unquestionably important. It aids in the early instillation of values and ethics in children. Nuclear families find it difficult for a child to learn such values at a young age since both parents are not often willing to care for the child, while in a broader family setting, the child is nurtured by other family members if their parents are too busy working to care for their loved ones. But, at the end of the day, if we know how to turn the tide, nothing is evil. It’s always an option, whether it’s a nuclear or joint family.

Aly Goni:-
It’s all about enjoying your family in life. Since I grew up in Jammu with a large family, I never saw myself growing up in a nuclear family. In a joint family, the interpersonal equation makes you feel safe and human. A nuclear family is a very different term. The next generation, especially in metro areas, may not understand the definition of joint families. Ghar ke atmosphere ka bahut fark padta hai, I believe. Everyone needs people in their lives. We all need good people in our lives, and all generations recognise this.

Sarin Amit:-
I may live abroad, but I am a true blue desi at heart, and my childhood years were spent with a large family. As a result, my personality has become stronger. As a result, I also teach my children the importance of family. I keep in contact with my parents and relatives in India on a regular basis. Nuclear families are a reality, but joint families still exist and will continue to exist in many areas.

Choudhary Rohit:-
Every day is a family day for me, because no one understands you like your family. Only your family will always be concerned about your well-being, which is why it is important in life that we all remain close to our families and prioritise our loved ones. We did not open up in front of our parents when we were children, but in today’s generation, parents and children are friends. It has improved connectivity. Everyone should prioritise their families, in my opinion. The next generation believes that parents should not be involved in anything, but this is incorrect. Since they have insight and experience, you should seek guidance from your parents. In addition, no one knows you better than your parents. They are your most ardent supporters, so seek their advice before making decisions on what is right and wrong.
