Mehndi Hai Rachne Waali reaches the century mark!

On the 10th of June 2021, Mehndi Hai Rachne Waali, which began on Star Plus on February 15, 2021, reaches the milestone of 100 episodes. Pallavi Deshmukh (played by Shivangi Khedkar) and Raghav Rao (played by Sai Ketan Rao) are two different people who take second chances in their lives. While Shivangi and Sai are well-known for their Telugu performances, this is their debut Hindi programme as lead actors.

“I’m grateful for Mehndi Hai Rachne Waali, I’ll always hold it extremely close to my heart, it has helped Television fans realise my work,” Sai Ketan Rao alias Raghav adds, elated by the show’s success. “I’m also grateful to the show’s creators for casting me as a young and energetic character. Without the Creators, Cast, Crew, and, most importantly, our viewers and admirers, these 100 episodes would not have been possible. I’m humbled by the outpouring of support we’ve got in such a short time, and I’m delighted we were able to contribute to people’s enjoyment. This is one of our most significant achievements to date, and I’m looking forward to what lies ahead!”

“Mehndi Hai Rachne Waali was like a dream come true,” Shivangi Khedkar, who plays Pallavi in the programme, adds. “Because the pandemic has had such a negative impact on the industry, I’m grateful that I was able to find work and work with such wonderful people during this time. Over the last six months, I’ve formed many great friendships, and work has never felt like work because we’ve had so much fun on set! Despite the fact that it required a lot of effort, I never understood how far we had progressed! I’m amazed at the team’s ability to keep the series running while protecting our safety. Without the help of even a single staff member, we would not have been able to complete 100 episodes.”

The drama is now focusing on the story of two irreconcilable characters Pallavi and Raghav who are married under strange circumstances, and is produced by acclaimed Producer Sandiip Sickand. Despite the Maharashtra curfew, the team was able to continue filming by relocating to Hyderabad. The show has a large fan base and has been favourably appreciated by the audience. We congratulate the team on reaching this significant milestone, and we look forward to seeing many more in the future.
