The upcoming weekend episode of Sony Entertainment Television’s Indian Idol Season 12, hosted by Aditya Narayan and judged by Anu Malik and Himesh Reshammiya, is set to bring back memories of the 1990s with legendary guest judges Kumar Sanu and Anuradha Paudwal, as well as ace music director Roop Kumar Rathod. Contestants Arunita Kanjilal and Pawandeep Rajan, who performed a duet on Dheere Dheere se meri zindagi mein aana, Raah mein unse mulaqat ho gayi, and Tujhe dekha to ye jaana sanam, drew the attention of the guest judges, who praised them for their outstanding singing.
Pawandeep was in for a pleasant surprise after receiving some positive feedback from the judges. Arunita, the mastermind behind the surprise, invited Pawandeep’s sisters Jyoti and Chandani to appear on stage. Pawandeep was moved and overwhelmed by this thoughtful gesture, and he was grateful to have his sisters by his side. They sang songs together and relished the moment. My sisters have been a pillar of strength and a great encouragement to me since I was a child and throughout my life. I’d also like to point out that I’m fortunate to have such wonderful friends on this episode, and I’m grateful to Arunita for this great surprise, which made my day.”
“The choice of selecting and shortlisting our sister-in-law has already been granted to Arunita,” Jyoti said when Aditya Narayan asked Pawandeep’s sister about the qualities she looks for in a sister-in-law. She’ll be the one to take on this challenge and assist us in seeking a lovely girl for our beloved brother Pawandeep.”
