Prasthanam: A movie to watch at your own risk.
2 min readPrasthanam is one such political movie that will take back you to the ’90s. It is such a cliche like Ramayana or Mahabharata. The movie is total torture and the story had nothing different to show. It is a remake of Telugu Prasthanam so the director is the same. Baldev Pratap Singh(Sanjay Dutt) has two sons Ayush(Ali Fazal) and Vivaan (Satyajeet Dubey). Ayush is the stepson of Baldev and also Sanjay wants him to get all the power because he is capable and that’s how the story goes on.
Acting: Sanjay Dutt had nothing new to show. Ali Fazal acting was impressive. Other than that Jackie Shroff tried to create that Jaggu Dada magic again. Chunky Pandey is developing day by day by doing a negative role. Amyra Dastur was just used as glamour and nothing else she had to do in the whole film.
Music: It just has four songs and those are also not good.
Direction: The director is the same who directed the Telugu version of Prasthanam. Now he tried this in Hindi and this is also not even up to the mark. Overall it is quite boring.
