Saahil Uppal: Getting vaccinated is the only method to stop transmission, and I believe everyone has been equally vulnerable
4 min readSaahil Uppal agrees with those who feel that all people should be vaccinated. While the actor is not opposed to how the government divided the drive phase, guaranteeing that frontline workers, who are most exposed to the virus, and the elderly, who are more sensitive to the virus, receive their vaccines first, he is critical of how the government divided the drive phase.
“Getting vaccinated is the only way to stop transmission, and I believe everyone has been equally vulnerable. Many elderly individuals do not leave the house, although young people do for work. As a result, it should have been an open immunisation for all from the start,” he says.
Saahil has yet to receive his vaccination. The actor did not want to leave the bio bubble while filming his programme Pinjara Khubsurti Ka because he does not want to put everyone in danger. He’ll take a few days off once they have a bank ready, take his first dose, and have plenty of time to return to the bubble. He intends to repeat the procedure for the second dose.
“Overnight, the epidemic has changed our entire outlook on life. This adversity has brought about many adjustments and transformations in my life, as I am sure it has in everyone’s. We’ve begun to take care of our health more gently and intentionally, as well as being there for our loved ones and taking care of the environment.
Our world came crumbling down when the flu struck. People have lost their jobs as a result of the economic downturn. Saahil has been concerned as well”.
“Even after recuperation, this phase will undoubtedly have a profound impact. Everything has been shaken by the pandemic, which is terribly sad, but we will overcome it eventually. For the time being, let us just pray for one other, be nice and wise, and hope for no more loss,” he concludes.
