Salim’s Covid-19 relief efforts are toasted by Sonu Sood
7 min readOur country has had a difficult few months, with a record number of deaths and diseases putting a stop to our life. Many difficulties were brought to the forefront during the second wave, the most apparent of which being the severe lack of medical supplies. A lack of medical resources has resulted in a record number of deaths across the country; inhabitants were left powerless and on the lookout for a ray of hope; many children have now been orphaned and are fending for their lives.
During these difficult times, a few individuals stood out for their kindness, one of whom was Mr. Salim Diwan, MD of Kamla Life Sciences.
The all-important Remdisivr injectable is manufactured by Kamla Life Sciences, and it has been crucial in India’s fight against the virus. Salim is also the principal actor in the film “Bollywood Diaries,” for which he received numerous awards; he is a complex personality.
Mr. Diwan has shown to be a saviour for the orphaned children left by the pandemic; he has taken 20-30 orphans under his wing and ensured their future.
Mr. Sonu Sood, another such individual, has proven to be crucial in India’s fight against the pandemic; he not only provided cash aid to those who had lost their jobs, but he also offered them with job prospects and transportation. This is not the Diwan family’s first foray into pandemic service; his older brothers, Dr. Sattar Dewan and MD Chopdar, who are directors of the family’s pharma companies, are providing food, lodging, and medical services to the needy due to the lockdown in their hometown of Jhunjhunun during this corona period. This family is making every effort to ensure that no one dies as a result of a lack of resources.
Mr. Diwan has pledged to ensure that no one in the country dies due to a lack of oxygen after noticing the deficit. Mr. Diwan has recently inaugurated two new oxygen generation plants, one in Maharashtra and the other near his hometown of Jhunjhunu in Rajasthan.
Sonu Sood, who has moved mountains to help his fellow Indians throughout the pandemic, hurried to the new plant site in Maharashtra to express his support and appreciation for his friend’s efforts and hard work.
“I am really proud of my friend Salim and the work that he is doing,” Sonu Sood remarked.
“We’ve known each other for a long time, but we’ve only lately reconnected. Salim moved me when he informed me about his amazing effort of establishing oxygen plants in Rajasthan and Maharashtra. I’ve come to show my support for Salim and the rest of the team. Every step of the journey, I’ll be there to help in any way I can. Salim Diwan shared his experience with us about the effort, saying”, “I have always believed in giving back to society as much as we can, and now is the moment for us all to come together and save our nation from the oxygen crisis. The need for adequate oxygen supply is urgent, and I am committed to take all necessary steps to guarantee that we never again face such a situation. After consulting with my family and reaching a consensus, I began working right away. I’ve known Sonu Bhai for a long time, and we all know what a fantastic job he’s been doing. When I told Sonu bhai about the oxygen plants, he was ecstatic, and he insisted on meeting the crew in person to express his gratitude. The setup is well underway, and the plant should be operational in about a month. We will continue to do everything is necessary for the country, and I promise that no one in our country will ever have to suffer from a lack of oxygen in this way agaim”.
