Sanjay Lila Bhansali Announce His New Film With Alia Bhatt

The renowned period drama director Sanjay Lila Bhansali took us by surprise today when he announced his next film. With Inshallah on the shelf due to some uncertain reasons, the director took it to Twitter to announce his upcoming film Gangubai starring Alia Bhatt. 

According to sources, the film is set to release on 11 September, 2020. The film is based on S Hussain Zaidi’s novel ‘Mafia Queens of Mumbai’. In Zaidi’s novel Gangubai kathiawadi was the matriarch of Kamtipura who was betrayed into prostitution. Despite this, she rose to the top become the biggest power and the wealthiest benefactor who retains a soft spot for women forced into prostitution.
