When asked about the song, music composer Shantanu Sudame couldn’t contain his joy, saying, “I was a mere participant in Indian Idol when I first met Udit ji as a die hard fan and I feel privileged to share the song composed by me and sung by the veteran.”
“Udit ji didn’t modify a single note,” Shantanu said, “And it was his magnanimity that he adopted my ideas to sing the song the way I had imagined it.”

“Man bhala to sab bhala… man bhala to jag bhi bhala…” ‘Maza aa gaya!’ says Udit Narayan When questioned about his views on the song he sung for the film Itwaar, Udit Narayan said, “These are my sentiments about it.” “It’s a song that will cure the souls of all who listen to it and give them renewed energy to carry forward in life. A cheerful, energetic song performed by the enigmatic artist Udit Narayan contains a message that everyone can connect to, especially in these troubling times”.

“To justify this song, we required a fantastic voice. Udit ji was the first name that came to mind. We expected it to be difficult because he is such a seasoned performer. We had faith in our music, and it worked,” Anant, a songwriter, says of his experience. “When Udit ji heard the lyrics, he was quite thrilled with the song. He, too, is a simpleton who follows the same mentality. He was sold on the concept right away. I must say, he absorbed the song’s main concept even before we started recording it,” Anant adds.

Anant and Shatanu have collaborated on a number of other projects, but this song has proven to be a watershed moment for them, and they expressed gratitude to filmmaker Rahul Srivastava for including them in the journey. “Rahul asked for a daily mantra of living from a modern day,” Anant explains the director’s brief. “The holy idea of the song, Kabir, should emphasise that a happy attitude will open up new perspectives that will lead to solutions to life’s problems.”
