Dharmender off and on visits his farm house located in Lonavala….when we spoke he was taking an evening stroll in the small field that he has nurtured, “I came to my farm house in Lonavala before the Lock- down. Yes, I have grown Bananas, Mango, Papaiya and little bit of vegetables as well. I keep myself buy in the morning by talking little bit of sun bath as well.”
Dharamendera is known as the, He Man of the film industry since the time he entered the filmdom as he played all action films brilliantly….Call Dahramji with the He man tag ,pat he replies no, “I have also done quiet many romantic roles. In real life too, I am a very romantic man at heart. I do possess good as well as certain not so good qualities he answers with a loud laughter.”
About his latest short film he updates, “Yes I am doing a beautiful, romantic short film opposite Zarina Wahab. I have almost watched all her movies. She is not only a good actress but a fine person as well. It was a great feeling working with her. Let’s wait and watch the final result of this short film which is all set to release soon”.
Adding more about his future films he says, “I will surely do smoothing in front of the cameras. Acting is my passion, so obviously I can’t live without romancing the cameras. I am doing a few films. However, I have to finalize a film shortly. I have almost zeroed on the script this is again a very heart touching saga. Conversely, right now, I can only update that -this film is from outside production house. For the time being [Filial] we are not keen on producing films from our home production. I shall reveal the details of this film which is nearly zeroed, no sooner, this lock down period eases up we shall disclose the details. We have almost finalized it. So details abhi nahi de skta hoon.”[Can’t give the details now].
About his both actor sons-Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol he says,”I am in touch with them on the phone. They are mostly busy working out in their Gym.”
Dharam ji will never direct he says when asked this He Man & Romantic Hero has recently completed 40th marriage anniversary with Hema Malini …. Giving away a secret reveals , “Mein apni filmon ki najme bahut jld picturize karunga. Yes ,as you say I am good at writing Ghazals and romantic verses I will be soon coming up with all that on the celluloid” he concludes.
