Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10 Premiere Episode: Amruta Khanvilkar stuns judges with her gorgeous Lavani act; receives the season’s first standing ovation for her first performance.

After an incredibly long wait, Colors’ popular celebrity dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10 finally hit the tube on Saturday, September 3. Hosted by Maniesh Paul, the show has Madhuri Dixit, Karan Johar, and Nora Fatehi gracing the judging panel.

The premiere episode of the show boasted of several fantastic performances, but it was Amruta Khanvilkar who stole the limelight with her electric Lavani act on Nora Fatehi’s hit dance number “Garmi” from her 2020 film Street Dancer 3D.

Amruta’s high-energy performance in traditional Marathi attire left all three judges and everyone in the audience highly impressed. Judges Madhuri Dixit, Karan Johar, and Nora Fatehi could not stop giving the actress and her choreographer, Pratik Utekar, a standing ovation.

Nora was so impressed with Amruta’s performance that she even joined her on stage and did the hook step of “Garmi”. Later, Karan Johar and several other contestants also joined them on stage. Karan even called Amruta the “princess of dance” after the performance. The actress was on cloud nine to receive the season’s first standing ovation for her very first act on the show.

Amruta also revealed that she is a huge fan of Madhuri Dixit and has been dancing to her songs since she was four. Her mother was also present in the audience, and she got quite emotional after hearing Madhuri’s kind words for her daughter.
