On Sony’s Indian Idol Season 12, Danish Mohd recreates the “Do Lafzon Ki Hai” scene with Zeenat Aman

The upcoming episode of Indian Idol Season 12 on Sony Entertainment Television will be a homage to famous actress Zeenat Aman. Celebrating Zeenat Aman’s 50th birthday, the candidates will pay tribute to the evergreen beauty by singing some of her most well-known and chart-topping songs. While all of the contestants gave outstanding performances, competitor Danish Mohd, who performed Hai Agar Dushman, received special applause, but he had a request that only Zeenat Ji could fulfil. Danish states that he enjoys enacting conversations in addition to singing, and that he would be ecstatic if Zeenat Ji could reenact the iconic boat scene in Venice from the song Do Lafzon Ki Hai with him.

“You have done very well and you have the power to make any stage into a live performance,” Zeenat Aman replies, immediately agreeing to fulfil his dream. I’m fascinated by your singing and would love to recreate the moment from the song Do Lafzon Ki Hai with you.”

Danish Mohd continued, “I was on cloud 9 when Zeenat Ji agreed to recreate the scene with me!” Zeenat Ji sung the song as I acted out the scene with words. I had the impression that I was in a dream. I feel incredibly proud and fortunate to be given this opportunity and to be able to create this moment with such a legendary Bollywood star.”

In the show, Zeenat Aman and Danish Modh are seen sitting in a boat with a backdrop depicting Venice, where Danish is shown recreating the song’s famous dialogue while Zeenat Aman mixes in by singing the lyrics.
