Veteran cricketer Vinod Kambli hears Danish’s pitch for Indian Idol

The competitors of Sony Entertainment Television’s Indian Idol Season 12 competed with their musical abilities in a ‘Boys Vs Girls’ themed episode last week. With his performance, one contender not only wowed the judges Anu Malik and Manoj Muntashir, but also drew the attention of an experienced cricketer. Mohd Danish, who commanded the stage with a tough performance of ‘Lagan Lagi,’ was overjoyed to find that Vinod Kambli applauded his performance.

“Loved the performance by Danish today in Indian Idol,” remarked the ace cricketer, who took to social media to compliment Mohd Danish. That was one of my favourite songs, and it appeared to be Sukhwinder himself singing it. “You got me right in the feels!”
