Star Plus show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is revolving around Sirat’s entry in Kartik and Kairav’s life. Kartik and his first wife Naira were the happiest couple until Naira fell to her death. Things have been rough but Sirat has changed Kartik’s life with her newness.
After the rumours of the main lead calling it quits with the show started doing the rounds, it seems that the makers have finally decided to take a generation leap in the show and Sirat will be seen dying while giving birth to a baby girl. Shocking, right? Too many unfortunate deaths in one story. It really hurts the fans but such is the situation of the story as the maker have mentioned that not much can be done anymore with the existing characters.
If sources are to be believed both Mohsin Khan and Shivangi Joshi aka Kartik and Sirat will exit the show on the first week of October.
The story will gradually focus on Kartik and Sirat’s children Kairav Akshara and Aishwarya. New faces and new beginnings!
The leads of the show are not locked but the makers have started their search long back for the perfect people who can carry the weightage of such an iconic show on their able shoulders.
If reports are to be believed then, Sirat will face her death while giving birth to a baby girl. After this event, the show will take a generation leap where it will focus on Kairav, Akshara and Sirat’s child.
Will the show still continue to be popular without Shivangi Joshi and Mohsin Khan? Will the new faces capture our hearts?
