Every small step toward a cleaner, healthier environment is important, and actress Pooja Gor makes it a point to help in any way she can. Changes such as utilising bamboo brushes and glass or copper bottles instead of plastic bottles have become a part of her daily routine, she added.

She remarked, “On the occasion of World Environment Day, which is celebrated on June 5, “I am concerned about the environment. I make every effort to be a responsible global citizen. Replacing plastic bags, containers, and bottles with cloth bags, glass/copper bottles and containers, bamboo brushes, planting trees, and insisting on a system of dry and wet garbage segregation in the residential complex where I live are just a few of the things I’ve done and made a lifestyle out of as we continue to look for alternatives.” “I’d like to contribute to the conservation of this planet for future generations to walk the world,” she said.

In 2019, the actress took part in a beach clean-up mission organised by Mahim Beach Cleanup. “We #mumbaikars are really lucky to be surrounded by beaches,” she posted on Instagram, expressing her delight at being a part of it. “These beaches, on the other hand, are suffering in quiet. The aquatic life is as well. We’ve all contributed to the plastic waste in these bodies of water at some point. The reality is frightening, and seeing it for yourself is a wake-up call. It is also our obligation to CLEAN UP because we are the ones who caused the mess. The sooner we realise it, the better, because it impacts us both directly and indirectly. Bravo to everyone who is dedicated to doing their part.”

On the work front, she is now starring as Pratigya in Rajan Shahi’s “Mann Ki Awaaz Pratigya 2,” for which Pearl Grey serves as showrunner, creative producer, and writer.
